About the Centre for Learning Disabilities Education
We offer a creative arts-based curriculum for adults with learning disabilities at City Lit. Students come to our courses from all over London to experience our unique, creative approach to education. Specialist tutors in the arts work with students’ abilities, strengths and aptitudes as a vehicle for learning and personal development.
We have a long history at City Lit within the self advocacy movement: all of our courses develop speaking and listening skills, choice making and independence.
Partnerships with City Lit
We develop partnerships with organisations who share our ambition and values and are currently working with the Royal Academy of Music and Books Beyond Words.

To join our programme, you will need to complete an application form and return it to us. We will then arrange an appointment for an enrolment interview before joining a class.
