About the FRA

From September 2010 a selection of City Lit courses will be held at the Fashion Retail Academy in Tottenham Court Road. Here is some background on the academy:
The Fashion Retail Academy was the first National Skills Academy to be opened in the UK in September 2006 to educate and train young people aged 16+ to develop skills required for an exciting career in the fashion retail industry. The FRA is backed by the Arcadia Group, Marks & Spencer, Next and Tesco.
Located in a fantastic building just off London’s Oxford Street you will learn in an inspirational environment. With connections to over 70 retail leaders, the work placements that are offered on all courses (not including City Lit courses) provide a great opportunity to gain the skills and experience needed for a career in fashion retail.
