Our facilities

In May 2005, City Lit moved to a £21m building in Covent Garden. Designed by award-winning architects Allies and Morrisson, the building provides some of the best adult education facilities in London and makes City Lit an even more enjoyable place to learn.

The building is 100% accessible for people with disabilities and includes:

  • 56 modern, bright teaching rooms and 8 tutorial rooms
  • specialist facilities for music, drama, art, fitness and complementary therapies
  • a roof-top herb garden
  • a multi-purpose theatre seating 120
  • a supported learning centre and library
  • male and female shower facilities
  • an information and advice centre
  • student lounges and a cafeteria for 80

Courses at other venues
A small percentage of classes take place at two local venues - EC, on nearby Stukeley Street, and the Anglo American Study Centre, on Bloomsbury Square - but all students can make use of the services and facilities at Keeley Street. However, please note that all classrooms at these two venues are accessed via stairs. To find out about access arrangements, please contact accesstolearning@citylit.ac.uk .
