Our history and awards
We have a rich history, and since 1919 (when the doors of City Lit first opened), we've received a number of awards, and have grown to offering over 4,000 courses to over 30,000 students across London. Our most recent accomplishment was achieving an 'Outstanding' grade by Ofsted following an inspection in June 2011.
