I explored English literature and found it fascinating
“I had been out of education for a while and wanted to be reintroduced to it before I started my PGCE,” explained Florence Afolabi. She joined a ‘Ways into literature’ course and then moved onto a more advanced language and literature course. She found that she loved the discussion, and the opportunity to analyse and explore works of fiction.“The course gave me more confidence, and the basis to write again. It gives me the freedom and the knowledge to pursue my goals.”
