We have joined the climate change pledge, 10:10, to cut our carbon emissions.
Initiatives at City Lit include:
- ‘Turn off’ signs on all light switches
- Sensor lighting in toilets and corridors
- The BMS (Building Management System) reprogrammed to run the building more efficiently
- Dyson Air Blades installed to replace eco unfriendly pull towels
- Recycling for all paper products, florescent tubes and print toner cartridges
- Photocopying and printing equipment supplied by RICOH, a company with excellent green credentials
- Use of Eco branded stationery and paper whose fibre has been sourced from certified forests
- Aiming for virtualision of all servers by summer 2010.
