What is the course about?
A course explaining the implications of the Disability Discrimination Acts for facilities managers and their places of work. The course blends practical disability awareness training with facilities management issues, management policies and procedures, design considerations, guidance to auditing and implementation work, and fire egress planning for disabled people. The course provides a holistic approach to access – giving delegates an all-round perspective on this critical but sometimes confusing piece of legislation.
