What is the course about?
Press releases are the workhorses of public relations. To announce anything from a product launch to a major appointment, an important event to new business initiative, you need to know how to write one. News organisations receive a constant stream of press releases and the sad truth is that most won’t even be read, usually because they’re badly written or they don’t have anything newsworthy to say. This course deals with the basics: how to structure and write a press release for the best possible exposure and impact.
