What is the course about?
If you are involved in training as part of your work, this course will provide a ‘starter kit’ to enable you to develop your practical training skills and train with more confidence.
What level is the course?
Anyone who is involved in training. No previous knowledge is required.
What will the course cover? (contents, themes, projects)
- Identifying learner needs
- Motivating learners
- Planning and writing a session plan
- Using effective training methods – presentations and demonstrations, managing group work
- Choosing equipment and resources
- Checking and evaluating learning.
We also offer this course as a three-day programme accredited by City and Guilds.
