What is the course about?
Recruiting the right people at the right time is fundamental to the success of your business. This essential workshop will equip you with the skills and confidence to attract the best candidates and ensure you get it right the first time. From establishing appropriate person specifications, through to structuring an effective interview, the recruitment process will be made clear, whilst also helping you to understand current employment and non-discriminatory legislation.

HR personnel, as well as managers with responsibilities for interviewing and selecting staff.

- How to structure an interview
- How legislation affects recruitment practices
- Using questioning techniques to draw out the most useful information from candidates

Whole class teaching, pair group work, practical exercises (on current job descriptions and person specifications), discussions, question and answer, role-play.
