You will learn how to use a range of digital media with your PC, how to store images on your PC and also how to copy files, music etc onto CDs.

This course is for beginners but you should be able to use a keyboard and mouse and understand the principles of PC based file management. You should also be able to follow spoken instructions, read written instructions and information, and discuss work with your tutor.
Each student has their own computer. Presentations will be made using computers, interactive whiteboard, overhead screen and printed notes. Step by step instruction, with demonstrations where appropriate, will help you grasp the concepts.
If you have digital equipment at home such as a digital camera; camcorder or mp3 player and you don't know how to use it or you need some advice please bring it along so you can practise with you equipment.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
