Elements, Attributes, and Values, Root Elements, Nesting and XML Special Symbols.
Developing XML templates.
Node processing using XSL
Publishing XML into HTML.
Using DTDs.
Write a well formed XML document.
Debug XML documents.
Develop fully web applications using XML.
Render HTML pages using Extensible Style sheet Language (XSL).
You should also be able to follow spoken and written instructions and add, subtract, multiply and divide.
This is a challenging beginner's course in XML which progresses to intermediate.
You must be computer literate and have knowledge of HTML.
Each student has their own computer.
Presentations will be made using computers, whiteboard, overhead screen and printed notes.
Step by step instruction, with demonstrations where appropriate, will help you grasp the concepts.
