Deaf and disabled support
If you are D/deaf or disabled and are studying at a college or university in London, our team of dedicated and highly trained staff can provide you with the support you need to succeed on your course.
We offer London's most comprehensive support package, including:
- in-class student support in communication, note-taking and interpreting
- one-to-one learning and language tutorials
- advice to your subject tutors
- deaf awareness training for people working with D/deaf students
- exam modification and liaison over special examination arrangements
- access to a specialist student support officer
- advice on technology.
Who can we support?
To apply for support
If you are starting a course at college or university, please complete the
application form and return it to us. We will then invite you in so that we can discuss your needs.
Studying at City Lit?
If you want to attend a mainstream course at City Lit, please complete and return the
application form.
You will need to come to an assessment session, they are on Wednesdays 2pm-3pm (
term time only). This should be at least three weeks before the start of the course you want to do. If you cannot attend at this time, please contact us to arrange an appointment (see below).
