BA Deaf Studies courses

Our Deaf Studies degree, validated by London Metropolitan University, is a major stepping stone if you are interested in a career as a language service professional within an educational context, or as a teacher of D/deaf learners.

Below are the modules for the Deaf Studies BA (Hons) degree course. In the first year you will study a series of six core modules before specialising in the second year. Your specialist choices can take you on a pathway towards BSL/English interpreting or a pathway towards communication support work and teaching.
