Was expecting to be able to brush up on and practise BSL receptive skills having already passed Level 2 but course seemed geared towards how to take BSL 201 exam. Feel that I wasted my money as the course advertised was not what was delivered.

The course was advertised as suitable for those who had passed BSk level 2 and wanted to brush up on their receptive skills. Yet, the course tutor said it was for those that had failed BSl part 201, hence why we were talked through the process of how to answer the 201 exam. There seemed to be a miscommunication on what the course involved as opportunities to practise receptive skills were minimal.

I was very disappointed in this course. The information on the website stated that this course was suitable for those who have passed their Level 2 BSL exam and would be an opportunity to practise receptive skills. However the first hour of the course focused exclusively on exam technique for the 201 exam which was not relevant to me having already passed this. We were also given practice assessment papers and told we would have a mock test in the afternoon session. Again this was not relevant since most of the class had already passed the exam. The teacher was very clear and friendly but unfortunately the course was not at all what we expected.
