I have an acquired hearing loss and increasingly need to augment what I hear with lip-reading skills. This course, which leads on from more introductory courses run by City Lit, numbers no more than 10 students at most, with varying types and degrees of hearing loss. I have found the course extremely useful not only in improving my lip-reading, but in 'managing' situations to maximise following what is being said. The teaching is varied, informative, often a challenge, but in particular it is fun! I hope to carry on next year.
