Taking improvisation to the next level. Where are you stuck? Where is theatre stuck? Where is traditional training stuck? Can we solve it through improvisational routes?
Relationships, character, story structure, and developing pure improvisation into a tool that will change your acting drives and understanding of what it is to act.
Perform moment to moment, consistently, for sustained periods of dramatic time.
Know more about the actors ability to write and direct as they act.
Understand more of what it is possible to offer your director as a freely responding actor.
Ideal for those who have completed Acting through improvisation: follow on-, and want to know if the actor really needs to rely on a playwright or director?
In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
Listen and respond to instructions and feedback.
Take part in class discussions.
Respond to the emotional offers of scene partners.
Work within groups and pairs safely.
Practical work, exercises, pure improvisation, Some homework may be set.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
