To make actors aware of the many techniques needed for successful radio and sound work.
Working on microphone technique by means of recording students in a variety of dramatic scenes, commercials and other voice over material.
Be at ease in front of a microphone.
Have an ability to communicate with the listener.
Have an appreciation of the different skills needed in each area of sound work.
You will see a difference in the quality of your recorded performances between lesson 1 and lesson 6.
You should have at least two years' acting experience or drama training of some kind.
In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
• Speak English fluently and clearly.
• To read a script accurately.
• Give and receive constructive feedback.
• Take notes.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
