To equip you with the necessary skills for leading workshops in theatre, education and media, for various ages, abilities and situations.
- how to structure and run workshops for theatre, education and media, for students of all ages and varying abilities
- confidence and team-building skills

- health and safety.
Various games and improvisations will be led by students and the tutor.
Feel confident to structure and run workshops for various situations in theatre, education and the media.
You should either have a teaching qualification or experience in teaching/directing, or a strong desire to teach or direct drama.
In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
• Listen and respond to instructions and feedback.
• Communicate clearly in discussion and drama practice.
• Read and respond to a variety of text.
• Give and receive constructive feedback.
• Take notes.
• Work within groups and pairs safely.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
