Learning to improvise well, looking at possibilities of performance improvisation, both comic and serious, and to gain some strong acting truths from this.
Meisner technique, improvisation, games, status.

Have a deeper understanding of improvisation.
Understand the use and importance of impro when acting.
You should have completed an introductory acting course or have the equivalent experience. The willingness to take risks, challenge oneself and have fun is equally important.
In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
• Listen and respond to instructions and feedback.
• Communicate clearly in discussion and drama practice.
• Read and respond to a variety of text.
• Give and receive constructive feedback.
• Take notes.
• Work within groups and pairs safely.
Group work, pair work, and individual work.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. Ongoing feedback throughout the course with regular group discussion. You should feel more confident in your ability to improvise freely and spontaneously.
