To study the fundamental skills of acting and the theatre, with an emphasis on the visual/physical.
Exercises and improvisation in order to develop the performer. Also to look at the various
processes of creating, interpreting and adapting work within the modern theatre.
Demonstrate a greater understanding of theatre and acting.
Create, interpret and adapt work within the modern theatre of today.
Communicate ideas visually as well as verbally.

In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
• Listen and respond to instructions and feedback.
• Communicate clearly in discussion and drama practice.
• Read and respond to a variety of text.
• Give and receive constructive feedback.
• Take notes.
• Work within groups and pairs safely.
Solo and group work, developed through exercises and improvisation.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
