A fun class which culminates in a Broadway-style tap routine (42nd Street, Crazy for You, Mack n Mabel, Me and my Girl). Not suitable for complete beginners, but those with some tap experience.
Following a warm-up, we will practise a series of combinations and travelling exercises, finishing with a routine.
Use a broader knowledge of tap steps.
Perform a routine in a group and possibly solo.
Demonstrate your knowledge of tap steps within a choreographed routine
Recognise a greater sense of enjoyment.
Not suitable for beginners but those with some experience of tap.
In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
• Follow spoken instructions
• Use numbers to recognise rhythms within dance.
• Work within groups and pairs safely.
Group and individual work.
Wear loose clothing appropriate for dance and tap shoes should be Cappezio or Catz brands (no rivets).

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
