Advanced Performance Diploma 2009 -2010

Arinder Alexander  As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma agents' showcase Arinder attracted the interest of Actorum and CCM. Since graduating she has appeared in Dirty Market Theatre company's Twelfth Night and a corporate video for the NHS European Commission. upd 20/8/10

Colin Appleby  As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma agents' showcase Colin attracted the interest of DPA, 21st Century Management, Hamilton Hodell and Margaret Howard Agency. He is currently (Aug 10) appearing in Better then Sex - the Musical at the Courtyard Theatre. upd 20/8/10

Jonathan Benda will be appearing in The Magnetic Lady by Ben Johnson at The White Bear in September '10. upd 20/8/10

Francesca Fahy plans to continue her training and is auditioning for the Oxford School of Drama. upd 20/8/10

Katie Farrow As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma agents' showcase Katie attracted the interest of the Director Rebecca Adamson. Since graduating she has appeared in a short film and Dirty Market Theatre Company's Twelfth Night. She is working as an audtion panel actor for Bare Bones and is writing for the new Cockpit season. upd 20/8/10

Patrick O'Halloran appeared in Cul de Sac at the Arcola theatre, in the Made in Hackney season. upd 20/8/10

Anne-Marie Hughes  As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma agents' showcase Anne -Marie attracted the interest of  Actorum.

Harry Jardine recorded an audio book Johnny Swanson by Caroline Upley  for Oakhill Publishing and has been accepted into RADA  starting in September. upd 20/8/10

Melanie Liburd  As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma agents' showcase Melanie attracted the interest of Christina Shepherd Management. She appeared in an Ad campaign in the Sunday Mirror magazine and will be appearing in Wedlock of the Gods at the Cochrane Theatre in September '10. upd 20/8/10

Krystyna O'Brien As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma agents' showcase Krystyna attracted the interest of Mantle management and Simpatico. Since graduating she has gained work in corporate Role Playing most recently for the Law College in Moorgate. upd 20/8/10

Lynne Rodgers As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma agents' showcase Lynne attracted the interest of Threshold Agency. She has appeared in an advertising campaign for Blackberry. upd 20/8/10

Mark Steere has appeared in a student film and is auditioned for a new musical and another film. He is touring with Cats Grin Theatre in Edeucation company in November and December upd 06/9/10

Nick Ticehurst  As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma agents' showcase Nick attracted by a producer and offered a part in a production for the Camden Fringe. upd 20/8/10

Advanced Performance Diploma 2008 - 2009

Lucy Allenby has appeared in Encore with SS Theatre Company, Centre Stage with KA productions, Sleeping Beauty and The Wonderful World of Dissocia with the City Lit Rep Co, and corporate actors role playing for St Mary's Hospital, Paddington. Her most recent appearance was in the  West End in 1916 the Musical. upd 19/08/10

Shana Bah now works as a TV presenter.  Her most recent TV presenting  work  was as at the Tendence TV  World Music Awards -Monaco in 2010. upd 19/08/10

Michelle Bruneau  appeared in the City Lit Rep Co's Roberto Zucco, The West Pier with B.O.L.T! collective and toured with ES players in The Wild Goose Chase. upd 19/08/10

Martin Daly. As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma Agent' showcase, Martin gained representation with Nic Knight Management.  He appeared in the City Lit Rep Co's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at Paul Robeson Theatre and Sleeping Beauty at John Lyon Theatre, Performance Lab Companies Sex, Lies & Power,  Bad Behaviour for Writers Avenue, and Fragile with Gutted Film and Theatre Company. Shaheena Dax.  Shaheena gained representation with Lee Morgan management.  She has appeared in a number of short  films, a music video, two photo modelling assignments, had voice over work, appeared in Product Medea at the Roundhouse and been on tour in Europe in Mr Ibrahim et les Fleurs du Coran with Tour de Force.

Cassandra Gosling. As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma showcase, Cassandra gained representation with Roseberry Management..

Clive Graefe appeared in City Lit Rep Co's Sleeping Beauty, and commercials for Macdonalds and the Whizz Kids Charity.

Sophie Holland has representation with LondonTheatrical.  She has appeared in three feature films,  made a number of TV appearances including a CBBC live presentation, and appeared in City Lit Rep Co's Sleeping Beauty, Fandango's Cloud 9 at the Union Theatre, Twelfth Night at the Lion and the Unicorn,  in Love and Understanding.at the BAC and will be touring the UK in Dracula in last couple of months of 2010.  A feature film she appeared in, Nobody the Great, won Best International Feature at the Bel Air Film Festival in November 2009. upd 10/09/2010

Christopher Lawley As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma Agent' showcase, Christopher gained representation with Nic Knight Management. He appeared in City Lit Rep Co's Sleeping Beauty, Performance Lab Company's Sex, Lies and Power, and Twelfth Night with Dirty Market Theatre Company.upd19/8/2010

Alix Martin is represented by Simon & How associates and DRB Entertainment.  She toured with Goodmann productions in Abigail's Party, and appeared in two short films and an advertising campaign for The Times. upd19/8/2010

Tim McFarland As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma Agent' showcase, Tim gained representation with Nuartistes.
He appeared in a corporate film for Samsung and DFS ad campaign. He appeared in Faithless Bitches at the Courtyard Theatre, upd19/8/2010

Lucy Grace Norris As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma Agent' showcase, Lucy gained representation with 21st Century Actors Management.   She has appeared in two short films, in Lazurus Theatre's Salome at the Roundhouse, Foolish Peoples The Abattoir Pages at the Old Abbatoir, Pita Theatre's She is Beautiful, She is Barefoot, toured in Listed Theatres Listed Lido and appeared in an Xbox Ad campaign. upd19/8/2010

Greg Page As a result of the Advanced Performance Diploma Agent's showcase,Greg gained representation with Roseberry Management.  He has appeared in Ad campaigns for Thomsons Hoildays' and Macdonalds and the Radio play Bit by Bit for the BBC.  Theatre credits include Crimson Horse's A Clockwork Orange, and  most recently a tour with the London Bubble Theatre Company's Sirens of Titan. upd19/8/2010

Hilary Hodsman, appeared at the New End Theatre Festival, in Confusions. She also appeared in Irresistable films 'A cup of tea' for Alzheimers International. She enjoyed excellent reviews for her appearance in Supernatural, at the Lion & the Unicorn theatre which ran from 24th November 2009 to the 10th January 2010. upd 18/02/2010

Billy Knowles did two T.I.E tours, Mother Goose, a touring panto with PartyTime Productions, and a 7 month T.I.E tour with Quantum Theatre for Science called What If It Rains? Theatre credits in 2009 include Billy in Stags & Hens at the Landor Theatre and Bacchus In Rehab at Camden Peoples Theatre (Nov/Dec 2009) upd 17/11/2009.

Hannah Paton is touring with T.I.E company Hurricane Productions in Mother Goose. upd 18/02/2009

Gemma Reid performed as a dancer and vocalist at Jon lee Bird’s Before Encore Exhibition at the Twentieth Century Theatre in Notting Hill, and directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Wizard of Oz for various Youth Arts groups in Epsom. She is now touring with T.I.E company Cats Grin Theatre company. upd 18/02/2009

Alex Rendall appeared in a number of films including the award-winning Irrationality in Hyperspace and internet series Sophies Diary on Bebo. He has also appeared in advertising campaigns for Specsavers, Canon and Pringles (2009) upd 17/11/2009

Ingrid Schiller appeared in Hedda Gabler with Broken Biscuit Theatre company, toured with T.I.E company Working Space in The Snow Queen and has appeared in a Feature Film and music video.  upd 18/02/2010

Elizabeth Webster appeared in the short films, Chav Noir playing a gangsters moll, and Taylors Trophy which is now on the festival circuit. Theatre appearances include the Albany theatre Deptford in a short play about facing ones demons, and the Arcola theatre in a short comedy play about the unlikely friendship between a chav and a middle class man. This was  reprised at the Old Red Lion for the Offcut Festival getting through to the final. She enjoyed excellent reviews for her role as Liada in Madness In Valencia which transferred from the White Bear to Trafalgar Studio's (Feb/Mar 2010).  upd 18/02/2010

Jean Apps

After the showcase, Jean attracted the interest of Astral Actors Management who are now representing her. She has acted in a short film and has joined Actors & Writers London. In October 2007, she appeared as Aunt Tesman in Hedda Gabler with The Wheelhouse Theatre Company at the Colour House Theatre. She appeared in a run of Bacchaefull, which first premiered at the City Lit in October 2008. In April 2009 she appeared as a Judge in Volpone at the Prince Edward in Bayswater. upd 18/02/2010

Edith Barlow

Edith has returned to New Zealand to continue pursuing her stage career.

Emma Rachel Blackman

After the showcase, Emma was signed with the agent Hilary Gagan Associates and has been working. She will be appearing with the Foolish People Company at the ICA in Dead Language, October 18th - 22nd. She will appeared in the City Lit Rep Company production, Macbeth, in December 2007 and in 2008 The Yellow Wallpaper at the Edinburgh Festival, after its successful preview at the Courtyard Theatre. She is co-founder of Acting Like Mad and appeared in Toyboy and Living with ... at the Blue Elephant in Camberwell in November 2008. upd 10/02/2009

Tom Bonington

Since finishing the Diploma, Tom has done a commercial for Sky TV and acted in four films. He shot two more films in October of that year. He has been to several other castings and is being represented by the agent Linda French. He appeared in the City Lit Rep Co productions, Macbeth and Whose Live is it Anyway? in 2007. In 2008 & 2009 he was involved in numerous projects in Film, Theatre and Television, in the UK and abroad. He recently appeared in the film, The Shouting Men, which had its nationwide cinema release on the 5th March 2010, at the Odeon Leicester Square. upd 03/03/2010

Richard Cloete

Ritchie finished filming scenes for a feature called Loose ends and then shot another film Tough Justice in Mid October and had an audition for a film called 2012 The Seventh Seal. In 2009 he apperared in Secrets at The Cockpit. In 2010 he returned to South Africa, and opened a Theatre School for children. upd 18/02/2010

Karlina Grace

Karlina is doing a Post Graduate Diploma at the Oxford School of Drama.She will be appearing in a run of Bacchaefull, first premiered at the City Lit in October 2008. She appeared in Death and the King's Horseman at the National Theatre, in April 2009. upd 12/12/2009

Stephen is doing a Post Graduate Diploma at the Oxford School of Drama.

Tom Harris

Tom will be appeared in the City Lit Rep Company productions, Macbeth, in December 2007 & Wild Honey 2008. He will be appearing in a run of Bacchaefull, first premiered at the City Lit in October 2008. upd 24/09/2008

Scott Hinds

Scott was the face of BT Broadband and appeared in a Tesco Direct Ad Campaign with Martine McCutcheon. He appeared in Wild Honey with the City Lit Rep Company in 2008. In 2008 he also appeared in Firstborn Theatres Playlist and appeared in the The Pretender Agenda at the New Players Theatre in the Westend (September 2008) He is currently filming a feature film (Feb 09). upd 10/2/2009

Bill Hutchens

Bill appeared in the premiere of Lillies or the Revival of a Romantic Drama. After a successful run at The Space the play transfered to the Brockley Jack in October 07. He then appeared in Pluto at the Blue Elephant theatre in Camberwell. (May/Jun 08). Film Credits include
The Legend of the Golden Fishcake and Desperado and he recently appeared on SKY as Zontash in the comedy pilot The Napoleon Complex (Nov 2009) upd 22/10/2009 

Eilis Jordan

After the showcase Eilis saw the agent Linda French and has been in contact with Stephen Cornwell from Smile Talent. Eilis is doing a Postgraduate Diploma at ALRA.

Lauren Little

Lauren is continued her studies at the Central School of Speech and Drama and appeared in their showcase in 2009. upd 11/12/2009

Wendy Maclennan

After the Showcase, Wendy attracted the interest of Noel Casting who have now signed her. She appeared in a comedy sketch for Warner Brothers, featured on Comedy Box. She appeared in a film Hip Hop Opera, for the charity Don’t Trigger. The premiere at County Hall on the 6th October will be attended by the Prime minister Gordon Brown and later aired on MTV. She attended a number of castings for commercials and was cast in two feature films. Her most recent appearance was in The Wasp and the Caterpillar which screened at BAFTA in November 2009. upd 18/02/2010

Stephane Middleton

Stephane continues to hone his skills with us, and completed the Screen acting: One Week Intensive which was run in conjunction with the London Film School in September 2007. He appeared in the City Lit Rep Company's production of Macbeth, in December 2007, and Wild Honey in 2008. He will be appearing in a run of Bacchaefull, first premiered at the City Lit, in October 2008. upd 24/09/2008

Ruth Rowbury

As a result of the showcase Ruth is being represented by Astral Management and appeared with the Foolish People Company at the ICA in Dead Language, October 18th - 22nd. She also appeared with the Rep company in Wild Honey (Mar 2008)

April Small

April will be appeared in Sondheims Assasins, in the West End in January 2008 playing Lynette Fromme. She will be appeared in Love’s Labours Won for Rogue Shakespeare Company, at the Gilded Balloon in Edinburgh, 30th July to 25th August. 2008.

Stuart Taylor

As a result of the Showcase, Stuart attracted the interest of Agents, Bloomfield Management. He has had auditions for several commercials, been involved in a film project with Farnham School of Film, and is involved in the filming a pilot childrens TV show Bonzo & Turnip. He is also working in childrens entertainment doing readings and presenting for Storytime .

Phillippa Adair

Phillippa is joining the City Lit Rep Company and is involved in a collaborative fringe production, directed by Jon Lee.

Tansy Adair

After completing the Diploma course Tansy is went on a 7 week tour of the UK with a T.I.E company, Working Space Theatre. She was attending our Performance Lab course prior to going on tour. From the 8th to the 19th of January 2008 she appeared in a production of Salome at Pentameters Theatre with Second Skin Theatre Company. upd 23/1/2008

Paul Beckham

Paul is currently appearing with the City Lit Rep Company in The Coming of the King on the 7th, 8th and 9th December. upd 05/12/2006

Alberto Bona

Alberto finished touring the Northern Italian Coast with Teatro dei Pazzi playing Jafar, the villain in Aladdin & the Princess in September. He appeared in Filumena Marturano with Studio 3 at the end of September at the Olympia Exhibition Centre with one night at the Etcetera in Camden. He also appeared in a Musical called Sardines at Sadlers Wells Lilian Baylis in September. Most recently he has appeared in a short film which has been entered in a Bristol Film Competition. upd 23/11/2006

Simon Brencher

After completing the Advanced Performance Diploma and appearing in the Showcase, Simon secured an audition with Subverse Theatre Company, Noel Casting is hoping to cast him in a film & Josh Baker who is setting up a new agency also wants to represent him. Patricia Rose working in Hollywood is producing a new series of The Saint and will meet with Simon when she is next in London. Simon is now an associate member of the City Lit Rep company and is currently appearing in The Coming of the King with the company on the 7th, 8th and 9th December. upd 05/12/2006

Jackie Byrne

After her performance in the Showcase, Jackie attracted interest from Simon Allen of Capataz Casting, West Central Management, Roseberry Management, the agent Anne Duke and Fire and Water Films. She was also shortlisted by the Walk Tall Charity, for a position as a Drama facilitator.
She appeared in Black by Popular Demand in November. She has just completed Wedding Day a short film with London Film School and is shortlisted for a new film Black Slaves to be made June 07. She is currently in first stages of writing and performing in Sunshine and Washing with a view to taking it to the Edinburgh Festival 07 and possible a short film with Director David Hillman.
She is appearing in The Coming of the King with the City Lit Rep Company on the 7th, 8th and 9th of December. upd 05/12/2006

Emma Eliot

After appearing in the Showcase, Emma received an offer from Linda French and Inspiration Management. Roseberry Management, Hilary Gagan, and Noel Casting also expressed interest. She is now signed to APM Associates. She appeared in a Comedy Sketch Show at The Wheatsheaf in Tottenham Court Road(2006) and continues her association with the City Lit Rep Company. She appeared in the Black By Popular Demand show, and has been offered a voiceover job by a commercial director who came to see the show. In the New Year 2007 she appeared in a comedy sketch show Turpentine. Emma will be the voice of the upcoming 02 mobile phone advertising campaign (Nov 2007).upd 07/11/2007

Paul Etuka

As a result of the showcase, Paul was seen by Linda French. Inspiration Management were keen to represent him and Denmark, after an initial meeting, invited him to come back to meet other members of their team. Hilary Gagan and Roseberry Management were also interested in Paul. He was awarded associate status of the City Lit Rep Company. He appeared in a music video to which aired on MTV in February 2007. He has been involved in workshopping a film to be shot next year, is recording voiceovers for the BBC and throughout 2007 he has been working with Andrew Ashmore and Associates on a number of corporate assignments including an an outdoor event at Manchester Museum . He appeared in the Manchester Evening news on the 11 July 2008 promoting Ashmore Acts, production of Boxmore Brown for revealinghistories.org.uk. In June 2009 he appeared in the City Lit Rep Co production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest which transferred to the Paul Robeson Theatre in Hounslow in September 2009. upd 05/09/2009

Georgia Fenton

After finishing the course, Georgia is going to Edinburgh with Total Beast Theatre Company playing Maud in Catchy from the 1st to the 28th August. Inspiration Management & Roseberry Management have expressed interest in seeing Georgia. She has enrolled on a teaching course also and is now an Associate member of the City Lit Rep Company.

George Georgiou (Xander)

George appeared with the City Lit Rep Company in The Coming of the King in 2006. He then toured in the South of France with the Quarum Theatre Company, a T.I.E company, from January to March 2007 and has appeared in productions in the Prague and Budapest Fringe festivals, throughout 2007-2008. He appeared in The Flies at the Camden Peoples Theatre from the 11th to the 29th March 2009.

Elly Goodman

Once she completed the Advanced Performance Diploma, Eleanor went to Edinburgh to do a sketch show May Contain Nuts with the Jambalaya Troupe from the 3rd to the 27th of August. She was working with a Perrier award winning director. She toured the North East with a small scale tour company, Chaplins Panto playing the Dame in Red Riding Hood, up to Christmas 2006. In 2008, Elly moved to Sydney to pursue physical theatre training at the Actor's College of Theatre and Television and gained a Diploma in Performance, specialising in the Meyerhold and Morris techniques. Since graduating in late 2009, Elly has played the lead roles in two Australian premieres: Crooked by Catherine Treischmann and Burnt By the Sun, by Peter Flannery. Elly has also appeared in 2 award winning short films: Cupid by Melvin Montalban and The Dessert Society by Marta Besevic and will appear alongside some of Australia's top actors in the upcoming feature Sleeping Beauty by Julia Leigh.  She and fellow graduate Melissa Jones have also set up Frantic Muse Theatre company in Sydney.

Maddy Greville Harris

As a result of the Showcase, Maddy met with the agent Janet Malone. Roseberry Management and Inspiration Management also expressed interest. Maddy also contacted Castnet to pursue casting opportunities. The director, Justin Allison, wants to cast her in a film. She is currently on a 7 week tour of the UK with a T.I.E company, Working Space Theatre. Prior to this she continued to attend the City Lit as a student on the Performance Lab course.upd 05/12/2006

Siam Hurlock

After her appearance in the Showcase, Linda French, Hilary Gagan, Roseberry Management & West Central Management all expressed interest in meeting with Siam. She is appeared in Dancing in the Streets for 2 and a half years and appeared as Diana Ross in BBC 1's The One and Only (Jan 08). In February 2009, she appeared in a charity performance of Eve Enslers Vagina Monologues from 19th - 21st. upd 18/02/2010

Mark Jeary

As a result of the Showcase, AXM, Inspiration Management, Roseberry Management, Denmark Street & Actors Exchange have all expressed interest in Mark. He has also been awarded City Lit Rep Company associate status. He toured schools playing Richard the III with the Naturel Company in 2007. He currently works with a Theatre Company in Brighton and as a stand-up comedian. upd 27/02/2010

Melissa Jones

After the showcase, Melissa was interviewed by the Agents Linda French & Hilary Gagan. She had an audition for Subverse, a political satire show, with the director Matt Hanh at 503. She had to decline a sketch show which was going to Edinburgh, because of other work. She appeared in Shakespeare by the Sea in the Merry Wives of Windsor and All’s Well that Ends Well, in Australia, a production at NIDA (Jun 07), 2 commercials (2007) and played Wife in The Genesian Theatre Company’s production of Blood Wedding in (Jan 2008). She appeared in Catherine of Avignon at the Tap Gallery in Sydney, Australia, from June 2nd - 21st 2009 and has recently set up Franticmuse theatre company with fellow graduate Eleanor Goodman. In the last 2 years she has appeared in the acclaimed Australian TV series Underbelly,  shot a TV commercial and a short film.

Faizel Kimera

Having completed the Advanced Performance Diploma, Faizel is pursuing theatre opportunities in Africa for three months. He will be working with children doing Drama. He is arranging to see Roseberry Management, West Central Management and the agents Linda French and Hilary Gagan. Faizel appeared in Black by Popular Demand in November 2006 here at the City Lit and apperared in Rep company productions Macbeth playing Macbeth and Topdog/Underdog playing Booth(Dec 08). upd 10/02/2008

Sophia Nicholson

After completing the Diploma Sophia had auditions with a number of T.I.E Companies. She then toured with TIE Company Bitesize Theatre in a primary schools tour of Sleeping Beauty, running October to February (2006/7). upd 05/12/2006

Carol Potter

Carol is now going to take the Adult Teaching Certificate. She will also be going into Business setting up ‘Drama Parties’.

David Powell

David is currently filming a short film, a time lapse piece for Justin Allison, an award winning director for the discovery channel. He will also play the lead in a feature film, which starts filming in September. After appearing in the Showcase he attracted the interest of Noel Casting and Linda French.
