In fact I didn't know what to expect from the course, so it was rather an experimental attempt for me. And I'm very happy I did try it. Of course, how much progress you do, depends just on one's hard work. However, you will get a lot of directions, tips and examples how to do it. You will also become more aware of your weaknesses as well as the structure of the language. And, of course, you'll learn the way to correct and improve your pronunciation.

I had decided to take the course because it was frustrating for me to speak in English and not being understood (or being misunderstood!), and for this reason I didn't speak at all sometimes! The course really helped me to build my confidence in speaking in English, I felt in a nonjudgmental and safe enviroment. Attending the course helped me to recognize my mistakes and now when I make one I just laugh. It has provided me with the tools to improve my English speaking skills. In order to take the most of it, the secret is a costant practice, as you will attend class once a week. Even if the course I took is over now, I keep practicing while I walk, on the bus, at work... It' s fun, challenging and interesting to re-educate oneself in an adult age! Last but not least: outstanding teaching! I' m really looking forward to starting Stage 2... I' ll see you in the lift! :D

I really enjoyed this course because it made me more aware of the mistakes I make when I speak english (I am a spanish speaker), the teacher was very committed to teach us the right content and check that we were applying it into our speech. If you want to improve your pronunciation, its a very good course to take.

The class explores the English phonetic, essential to learn a correct pronunciation. As we know, understanding English pronunciation is not immediate as might be in other languages (like the latin ones for example) and, despite my doubts before enrolling it, this course is absolutely invaluable. To see (hear) improvements it requires a strong commitment inside and outside the class, but it's absolutely worth it. I would say it's a must for all non-native speakers.

In terms of its contents, I could something I had no idea before in a friendly atmosphere.

Our tutor was so helpful to pick up each person's weakness and give us individual tasks.

Plus, he brought up some "unique" pronunciation topics outside his printout/text book in order to get the classes more interesting, so I could apply what I learned in each class into every day life so easily.

This course is perfect for you if you want to speak in clean standard English. We studied phonetic alphabet, along with all the particular sounds that make the accent very British-like. Totally enjoyable! It will work if you'll work it. Doing provided homeworks and practicing at home is essential if you want to progress. Very fun teacher and gives good feedback on improvements. Highly recommended for speakers of other languages. Especially if you have a very strong accent!

I am studying ESOL (entry3) at Westminster College, but I feel difficult when I have to speak in public, because I think that my pronunciation is not good enough.

The tutor is fantastic. He has the ability to teach in received pronunciation. He never wastes a second on "bla bla bla", and spends as long as it (very patiently) takes to help everyone to pronounce properly. I would would highly recommend this course with him as tutor.

A course which I started in denial that it could be possible to change one's accent. What a nice surprise. Teacher is excellent.
