To introduce you to the particular acting and technical skills necessary for acting for the camera.
The basic techniques required for acting for the camera.
Be 'on your mark'.
Play to camera.
Respect the disciplines inherent in acting for the camera.
You must have completed a body of work which shows you are a serious and connected student. You should also be familiar with the techniques of psychological realism. (e.g. have completed an Introduction to Stanislavski).
In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
• Speak English fluently and clearly.
• To read a script accurately.
• Give and receive constructive feedback.
• Take notes.

Yes. Before you can enrol on this course, you need to have an advisory interview with the relevant department. Without this the enrolment team will be unable to process your enrolment. Please contact the department to arrange your interview, or to find out about drop-in sessions.
You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
