I wanted serious professional training with teachers that were clued up and passionate, and I now feel ready to make a commitment to this inspiring and challenging discipline.I came to this course fairly late in life (I am in my early fifties), so i was looking for an inclusive approach from my teachers. I feel I have found a nurturing environment where I can explore my potential as an actress. My particular course tutor has a very direct no-nonsense approach which i adore. Acting is such a subjective craft and it brings to the surface all sorts of feelings, which are the stuff of our art. This course is immensely challenging and unpredictable and all the better for it. Don't apply if you want to languish in your comfort zone because you simply won't be allowed to ! I am learning so much about self expression and also how to work in a group. There is a lot of play which highlights the way we relate to one and other. I feel i have grown as a person and my passion for acting has resurfaced. I feel very lucky to have this second chance to fulfil my adolescent dream to act. It is not an easy profession to join but due to this course i feel empowered and so enthusiastic that i really don't mind about that. I just want to get out there and perform!
