This course is of a relatively fast pace and we covered a lot of ground in 2 days. I have some acting experience and the warm-up/vocal exercises were used. I am impressed at the amount of video we produced (100 clips for a class of 10) and [the tutor] is an excellent teacher. We also covered a lot of ground – ad libbing, talking to time, memorising scripts, autocue, interviews and walk and talk. I learned a lot from observing and discussing with the other students. Definitely do this course if you learn best under intensive ‘hands-on’ situations. Highly recommended.

This is the first course I have taken at the city lit, very enjoyable, I learnt alot about myself and the industry and showed clear improvments in my performance with constructive and supportive feedback from the tutor. Who had excellent knowlege and an ability to cater for all levels in the group with out leaving anyone behind or hindering anyones development. A fun but fast paced course, great value for money. Ive already booked on for another course at the city lit. I highly recommend this! A Great experience overall.

I had a great experience during this course at City Lit. A wonderfully joyful group, a constructive, very organized and positively analytical tutor, an experienced cameraman ... overall highly recommendable for anyone who wants to get a taste of TV presenting.

Probably one of the most enjoyable courses I've been on. Constructive, yet firm criticism, plenty of enjoyable moments and a very interactive. The group size was about right and the course allowed flexibility to be creative.

This is an intensive hands-on course from an experienced TV director. It left me gasping for air as I now reach for the remote to watch TV presenters in an entirely new light and possibly myself in a few months time! I loved doing the walking and talking to camera in the street outside.
