An intensive, challenging and fun encounter with the entire Acting Process, including voice, movement and acting skills, suitable for beginners wanting total immersion or professionals wanting to refresh and refocus the core acting skills.
Through physical, experiential work the course will cover: spontaneity, presence, solo, ensemble and pair work, approaching text and how to use your voice and body.
By the end of the course you will have performed a short duologue putting into practice the learning covered in the two weeks .
Work constructively and creatively alone and with other people.
Improvise freely.
Work in a disciplined way with commitment and thought.
Have the skills to approach and work on a text and perform it in front of an audience.
Greater physical and vocal awareness and emotional accessibility.
The course is aimed at beginners and those with some experience wanting a refresher course.
In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
•Listen and respond to instructions and feedback.
• Take part in class discussions.
• Read a script and/or related text.
• Work within groups and pairs safely.
This is a practical, experiential course which demands full engagement and commitment to working alone and in large and small groups.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
