To introduce you to the particular acting skills and technical skills necessary when acting for the camera.
The basic techniques required for acting for TV.
Be 'on your mark'.
Play to camera.
Respect the disciplines inherent in TV acting.
You must have completed a body of work which demonstrates you are a serious and connected student. You should also be familiar with the techniques of psychological realism. (e.g. have completed an Introduction to Stanislavski).
In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
• Speak English fluently and clearly.
• To read a script accurately.
• Give and receive constructive feedback.
• Take notes.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
