This is a brillant introduction to the Alexander Techique. [The tutor] is an excellent, very empathetic teacher. Class size was small allowing lots of hands on correction and group experiential work. The semi supine exercise at the end of each class was a very relaxing way to end the day. The most exciting thing was seeing the changes in everyone's posture at the end of the only 6 weeks. Highly recommended if you have ever wondered about the Alexander Techique and whether it might benefit you.

This course was excellent with an appropriate of differing teaching materials and methods incorporated. They say the Alexander Technique should be taught one to one only but I urge anyone intrigued by the Alexander Technique to try this excellent value course to educate on how the technique can be a real benefit to your life, health and well being. An excellent course taught by an excellent teacher! By far the best of the City Lit courses I have undertaken.

[The tutor] gave us a really good introduction to the Alexander Technique. He made it abundantly clear that the key to so many of our aches and pains is based in our stiff and restrictive postural habits. The course definitely makes you want to continue the technique

I learnt a lot from this course and I saw enough improvement in my posture to want to go on to take 1 to 1 lessons. A few months later and I can't believe the difference it has made. Thanks to the tutor for a well presented, enjoyable and informative introduction to the Alexander Technique.

I have really enjoyed this course. I was thinking about learning AT for a long time, and learning in a small group like this helped me decide if i wanted to commit to 1:1 lessons. It is helping me solve problems with my back, neck and shoulders which have been causing me pain and affecting my posture for several years. This is a really way to effect changes rather than just treat problems.
The course is fun and taught well which makes it a nice way to spend my evening after a long day at work.

I did this course last year and must say, I wouldn't have expected such a lasting impact given that Alexander is generally a one-to-one concept. A very worthwhile experience!!!
