A one day course for qualified aromatherapists only. Explore the role of an aromatherapist in the care of cancer and palliative care clients in the home, hospital and hospice through case history and personal knowledge and experience of the tutor. Learn about cancer and the side effects of treatment, and the benefits of aromatherapy. Discover ways to adapt massage techniques, client and practitioner positioning and safe and effective use of essential oils. Discover the wonderful benefits of aromatherapy to cancer and palliative care patients through the cancer journey.

- Knee Problems (for Shiatsu, Thai massage and introductory massage courses only)

If accepted onto a course, a student could be given alternative practical tasks and adjustments may be made where reasonable. However, a student could be asked to leave the course if any situation were to arise which could endanger the well being of that student, or any other student. It is for instance not suitable to work on another student, if you are taking medication that affects your concentration or if you have uncontrolled fits which could cause a danger to others during a relevant activity.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
