Course outline

What is the course about?

You will explore:
- different ways of promoting and advertising your business
- how to cost your prices
- looking after your workspace.

What topics will we cover?

- advertising and promotion
- finances/costs
- client care
- managing your workspace.

By the end of this course you should be able to:

- Identify your client base
- Create goals for advertising/promotion
- Define your pricing strategy.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This is for learners who have already completed the ITEC Holistic Massage Diploma (or equivalent)
You should be able to:
Read simple sentences
Identify main points and ideas in different texts
Write a short text independently ( 3 - 4 sentences)
Respond appropriately to requests and ask questions
Make verbal contributions
Speak clearly to be heard and understood.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

- Discussion
- Role play
- Feedback
- Questions & answers.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

Please bring pens, paper & coloured pencils.

Do I need to have an interview before I can enrol?

No.

What feedback will I get?

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.

How will I be able to give my views on the course?
