This course will be a natural progression if you have completed Traditional Thai Massage Level 1 or 2 or if you have the ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage or Reflexology. You will delve deeper into the Art of Thai Massage therapy. In this course you will focus on aspects of the lower body. You will cover acupressure for hip, knee and back pain as well as exploring the use of sticks while treating the lower legs and the feet. This will be a comprehensive treatment that boosts energy levels and balances the systems as a whole.
Foot and lower leg treatments using massage techniques as well as the use of sticks. You will also apply acupressure techniques for hip, knee and back pain.
-Give a comprehensive treatment of the feet and lower leg using massage techniques and stick work
-Use acupressure therapy for hip, knee and back
-Gain further insight into the benefits and effects of working Thai Sen lines on the lower limbs that will affect the entire system
- Complete a minimum of five single recorded treatments in the form of a case study.
Practitioner Level.
You would have completed either the ITEC Holistic massage diploma, the Traditional Thai Yoga Massage certificate or be a qualified Reflexologist.
Application for this course will require you to fill in an application form. Once you have completed the form, we contact you as to whether you have been successful.
You should be able to:

If you have any of the listed medical conditions, please bring G.P letters with application form to the Health and Movement Studies Office during Advice and Guidance hours for validation stamp.
Lecture, pair work, small group work, word storming, question and answer, practical demonstration.
Please wear loose comfortable clothing for practical work. Some course books may be recommended but not essential as handouts will be provided by the tutor. Sticks will also be able to be purchased from the tutor. You will need to purchase two small towels. These will be shown on the first day.
This course requires the completion of an application form.
You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
