Course outline

What is the course about?

An introduction to the Chakras - the spiritual energy centres of the body. We will be creatively exploring the seven major Chakras for balance, health and well-being.

What topics will we cover?

- Exploration of seven spiritual energy centres
- Personal development
- Colour and energy healing.

By the end of this course you should be able to:

- Identify and locate the Chakras
- Perform a Chakra meditation
- Balance your own healing energies
- Develop an awareness of the self for personal development.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Beginners - no previous knowledge required.

You are required to read and write short sentences, follow verbal instructions and extract information from handouts.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Practical exercises; meditation - guided and visualisations; affirmations; breathing techniques; gentle movement; group work, pair work, questions and answers and discussion.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

No.

Do I need to have an interview before I can enrol?

No.

What feedback will I get?

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.

How will I be able to give my views on the course?

Please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses.
