Florence Afolabi

Florence started at City Lit on a ‘Ways into literature’ course, where she proved to be an enthusiastic, engaged and thoughtful student. Her tutor said that Florence had inspired her peers in the classroom to engage in discussion through her open and energetic responses to their ideas. They went on to say that her joyous attitude to studying enriched the learning experience for both her fellow students and her tutors.

The following year Florence joined the A/S level literature and language course and subsequently achieved a grade B. She is an excellent communicator and was a generous class member who was always willing to support others.

Florence has now just completed her PGCE at Roehampton University and will soon be working as a primary school teacher.
