A very useful and thorough guide to key skills for the committed would-be novelist

An excellent course!

Everybody in my class hated missing a session because you would miss out on something important. So many of the tools that writers need- how to read being one of them. All the reading hand outs informed the subject that our tutor discussed, questioned and also critiqing our own work as well as extensive workshops. At the time I was currently doing an MA in creative writing, but for practical advice, teaching and honest appraisal and feedback, I felt I learnt more about the craft of writing here in this class! Our tutor was honest, insightful and rigorous in wanting us to improve. Don't take the feedback personally. I promise you, you will learn and enjoy!
