This course greatly increased my ability and confidence in writing short stories. This is the first course I have taken at City Lit and it exceeded my expectations - so happy to have finished some stories!

This course provides an excellent quality mix of craft and critique. The formal section covers the structure and craft of writing short stories. The informal section provides a unique opportunity for students to read and constructively analysis work submitted into class. An excellent course, but students remember that you will only take out from this course if you are prepared to put in the effort. Reward will be equal to your input. Highly recommended.
