The course covered all the basics, with a great mix of structure interwoven with examples and anecdote, to help embed the learning. There was plenty of discussion and small group work, without losing the impetus of the syllabus.

I really enjoyed the course and found the tutor very helpful/knowledgeable. It was particularly useful to explore the mechanics behind sit-com writing and see how these are applied to established TV sit-coms. The class was a good mix of individuals. Perhaps room for improvement in the structure; the tutor sometimes forgot what had been covered, but this didn't adversely affect my enjoyment or learning.
