A great course, fantastic teaching. Thw tutor is an enthusiastic, naturally gifted teacher. She's also a successful children's book writer and a graduate of this course. What more could you ask??

I registered for this course because I know City Lit had a high reputation for its writing courses. The 5 day version of this course is, inevitably, very intense. A lot of very practical information is delivered, backed up by handouts to complement your own notes and memory. There is analysis of examples, lots of discussion, opportunities to write spontaneously and to have samples of your work read and critiqued. The participants on the course I attended ranged from those who have been writing professionally to those, like me who are exploring the potential of writing for children. I want to continue to develop so will be signing up for more courses.
