In this fun all day workshop, sample a range of clips from world festival prize winning film directors from this continent. Discover what kind of films they make and find out how films are bought and sold internationally and who decides which films find their way into your local independent cinema?
The work of some exciting new international film innovators from World cinema; how film festivals and markets promote and trade in these films. How distributors reach a UK audience with a foreign language film.

The course is for anyone interested in world cinema, the film industry and film festivals and markets.
Viewing film clips, discussing the work on screen, looking at marketing materials, group discussion.
Students will require a pen and paper but the tutor will provide all other materials.
