The course on Eightenth Century Liberties has demonsrated that the study of history and politics can be fun and absorbing. I set out to the course with a light heart expecting to be informed, engaged and indeed enlightened and I am usually not disappointed. Well done, the City Lit for continueing to provide a real education service and not sucumb to the notion that vocational training should be the only offer.
