If you are an opinion former and want to extend your ability to debate with reasoning then this is the course for you.Subject matter is typically headline news from the broadsheet press although the tutor will occasionally throw in a random item of a non political nature.
Debates can be lively.The ability to drill down into a subject and not rely on soundbites in order to get a point of view across has been my biggest benefit although some members may have other opinions which of course is why we are all there.
