What is the course about?

The workings of the media - specifically Broadcast Journalism.
You will learn about career opportunities and have a chance to do some practical writing exercises.

What topics will we cover?

Information about the work of a Broadcast Journalist
Practical writing and interviewing exercises.

By the end of this course you should be able to:

- identify possible careers in Broadcast journalism
- have Practical experience of writing and interviewing for Broadcast Journalism.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Beginners.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Tutor input. Group discussion.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. Tutor feedback.
