Intermediate - you must have completed the Introduction to Freelance Journalism course or have equivalent education/experience. All should be prepared to write. You will need a good grasp of spoken and written English to keep up with the course.
The course will have a strong practical focus, producing work on assignments each week and tutor/group feedback sessions.
Purchase of publications/magazines from your target area is advisable. A book list will be provided. General guides such as The Writers Handbook and The Writers and Artists Yearbook are recommended.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
