What is the course about?

The course will focus on how to approach key markets and sell your work.

What topics will we cover?

How to get ideas.
How to approach key markets and sell your work.

By the end of this course you should be able to:

- identify and analyse what journalists do.
- identify key markets.
- do some Practical writing exercises.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

All those interested in Journalism are welcome.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Tutor input, group discussion, practical exercises.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

None.

Do I need to have an interview before I can enrol?

No.

What feedback will I get?

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. Discussion and feedback during the day.

How will I be able to give my views on the course?
