The course is an introduction to the tasks needed to market your work.
How to generate your ideas.
How to pitch your ideas.
How to develop an angle or hook.
How to approach the right editor and negotiate.
- assess the validity of an idea for a specific publication.
- identify a variety of ways to sell your story.
- negotiate with editors.
- find new markets for your work.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. Feedback throughout the day.
