What is the course about?

Radicalism in the Andes and the implication of the "Bolivian Revolution".

What topics will we cover?

Radicalism in the countries liberated by Simon Bolivar - Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. Discussion of the implications of the Bolivian Revolution and the links with Britain.

By the end of this course you should be able to:

- Identify key the events of the Bolivian Revolution.
- Identify the links with Britain.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

The course is introductory. All interested are welcome.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Lecture, powerpoint, presentation, tutor input and group discussion.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

Bring a pen and paper.

Do I need to have an interview before I can enrol?

No.

What feedback will I get?

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. Feedback throughout the day.
