This one-day course will identify the principal positions in this debate and discuss contemporary case studies drawn from Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador. Bolivia is the only government objecting to the UN process on climate change - a universal concern.

Course outline

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

The course is introductory. All interested are welcome.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Lecture, powerpoint, presentation, tutor input and group discussion.

Do I need to have an interview before I can enrol?

No.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. Feedback throughout the day.
