The course is set around the now standard texts for this level and the classwork is an enjoyable and appropriately paced journey through the material but in the lecturer's own entertaining style in class and with homework set from the texts.

I came to this course with fond memories of beginning Greek at school, but having forgotten almost everything of the language. This was a great way to absorb it from scratch, and I quickly felt confident about continuing this fascinating subject. The class was friendly and our teacher was supportive, helpful and gave us an excellent grounding for further study. I couldn't recommend this class enough!
