I started the City Lit Latin programme 2 years ago as a complete beginner. The teaching is fantastic & the design of the course excellent. We are a mixed bunch of students from those in their twenties to the retired. The teaching is sympathetic to different needs. The course has given me insight into my native English language & the ancient classical worlds. I was thrilled to find I could decipher the Latin I found in Durham cathedral the other day! A hugely stimulating and greatly enjoyable course.
